Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a type of massage that works by encouraging lymph fluid contained within the body to drain away from areas affected by lymphedema, a chronic swelling of the body’s tissues. Manual lymphatic drainage improves the body’s natural lymph fluid drainage, in order to minimise and control swelling.
This technique is useful for reducing swelling post-surgery, as well as following injury.
MLD is a valuable treatment for those suffering from sinusitis, migraines, fibromyalgia, MS, chronic fatigue, premenstrual syndrome, and water retention issues, as well as skin conditions, such as acne, eczema and psoriasis. Justine offers MLD facials, which improve the condition of the skin, and reduce dark circles and fine lines.
Justine has already established a strong patient-base, and is running her service through our clinic whilst she continues training to learn how to support patients in other areas.
