Micro-needling is an electronic device that uses small sterile needles to puncture the skin. Your own healing response then helps to generate new collagen and skin tissue for a smoother, firmer skin.
Micro-needling increases the production of collagen and other healing factors by causing trauma to the skin, this method used to treat and improve conditions like acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, loose skin, skin texture and pore size.
3 treatments, 4-6 weeks apart.
Typically, you will see results after the first treatment. Lasting and more significant results will occur after 4-6 treatments. Your skin will continue to improve over the next 6-12 months after a course of treatments.
You may experience minor discomfort during the skin needling treatment, but a numbing cream can be applied beforehand to reduce this. You may find temporary redness of the skin for a couple of hours or a day.
You may experience facial redness for 12-48 hours after the treatment. Most people are able to return to normal daily activities immediately after the treatment.
